Service Description

A qualified Careers Counsellor (and very involved, focused mum of an 18 year old) with 50+ diverse years’ life experience and 10+ years in career consulting, I will often find ways to help my young or less sure CV clients find their way by providing useful guidance, advice and information on courses or careers, helping to build their confidence and develop a stronger sense of self, work identity and self-worth. I now offer these sessions separate from the CV consultations for those only seeking careers counselling. I usually see the clear potential of younger / less career stable clients (including their potential career trajectory) due to speaking to so many clients with similar beginnings, and often share these insights. The whole process is often a helpful, life-affirming, life-changing event. Clients frequently say they enjoyed the process, that it was useful to explain things, that it was cathartic, and that they now appreciate their value more. All highly useful for next career steps.
